Potential Health Effects
Eye Contact: Eye contact may result in tearing, redness and pain.
Skin Contact: Prolonged and frequent contact may cause redness and irritation. Repeated skin contact may cause dermatitis.
Inhalation: Overexposure to vapors during application and curing may mildly irritate respiratory tract and result in coughing and sneezing.
Ingestion: May cause gastrointestinal irritation, nausea, diarrhea, and vomiting. -
Chronic health effects
From SDS:
Prolonged or repeated skin contact may result in dermatitis (red, dry skin). Direct contact with eyes may cause temporary irritation. Exposed individuals may experience eye tearing, redness and discomfort. Irritating to mouth, throat, and stomach if ingested. May cause gastrointestinal irritation, nausea, diarrhea, and vomiting. Overexposure to vapors during application and curing may mildly irritate respiratory tract and result in coughing and sneezing. -
Carcinogenicity
Silica, crystalline present in small amount in Calcium Carbonate filler: Known carcinogen. Titanium dioxide is a possible carcinogen when it appears as a respirable dust. Information on Titanium Dioxide: IARC (International Agency for Research on Cancer) has classified substance as Group 2B (possibly carcinogenic to humans). In long-term studies in rats in which substance was given by inhalation, a carcinogenic effect was observed. Tumors were only observed in rats after chronic inhalation exposure to high concentrations which caused sustained lung inflammation. In long-term studies in rats & mice in which the substance was given by feed a carcinogenic effect was not observed. Dermal exposure is not expected to be carcinogenicOSHA exposure limits.

Handling information
Keep out of reach of children and pets. Do not take internally. Use only w/ adequate ventilation. Avoid breathing vapor and contact w/ eyes, skin and clothing. Wash thoroughly after handling. Open windows and doors or use alternative means to ensure ventilation and fresh air entry during application and drying. Close container after each use. Store away from caustics and oxidizers. Store away from excessive heat and freezing. Store in original container, in a cool, dry area.
